ISLS 2027 London

October 19 - 22, 2027
Shaping the Future of HBP Surgery - From Surgical Craft to Intelligent Medicine

Welcome from the Congress Chair

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the 7th Congress of International Advanced HBP Surgery (ISLS 2027) taking place from October 19 – 22, 2027 at the Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Conference Centre in London, United Kingdom.

This prestigious meeting organised by the International Society of Liver Surgeons (ISLS) will have experts from over the world in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. The congress will include a detailed scientific program, including live demonstrations, invited lectures, oral and poster presentations and ‘tips and tricks’ sessions all featuring the latest advancements in HBP surgery.

Along with the local hosts in London from King’s College Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal London Hospital, and the Hammersmith Hospital we are welcoming participation from over 20 national HPB centres.

In addition to the main scientific program, the congress will host a pre-congress postgraduate workshop on machine perfusion and robotic surgery, to train young surgeons in cutting-edge surgery with hands-on experience.

There will also be a unique opportunity for our young colleagues in the field, to showcase research ideas in prize winning novel ‘Dragons Den’ presentations, that will be a first at ISLS!

The exhibition area will display the latest technology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, offering participants the chance to get abreast with developments in HBP surgery.

There will be a variety of accommodation options close to the QEII Centre, with the congress hotel being the Park Plaza Westminster, with special rates for congress participants. Both are very close to the iconic sites of London such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, looking across the River Thames. The new Elizabeth Line’s excellent connectivity to Central London with the London Underground, has transformed the way delegates can get into and move seamlessly and directly around the City.

We look forward to welcoming you to London – a vibrant, historic, and cosmopolitan global metropolis, that promises to deliver a truly inspiring and rewarding conference. Save the date and we will see you in London!
